Junior Data Engineer Snowflake

We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Snowflake to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with about 2 years of experience in data engineering who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to data-driven projects. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to support data integration, reporting, and performance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain SQL queries within the Snowflake environment.

• Support the integration of Snowflake with different data sources and tools.

• Assist in ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance.

• Collaborate with senior team members to support data-driven business objectives.

• Learn and apply best practices for Snowflake and cloud data engineering.

Qualifications & Experience

• Around 2 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience working with Snowflake cloud data warehouse.

• Solid knowledge of SQL and basic understanding of ETL processes.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

• Exposure to data modeling concepts and cloud-based data environments.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Exposure to data migration or optimization projects in Snowflake.

• Understanding of performance tuning and cost optimization in cloud environments.

• Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn from senior colleagues.
