Position: Video Editor/Graphic Designer
Salary: PHP 58,000 - PHP 78,500/month
Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays, 6:00AM - 3:00PM PH Time; Remote; Full Time
Holidays: NZ Standard Holidays
OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to support our content, marketing, and digital initiatives. This role is heavily focused on professional video editing, with additional responsibilities across basic motion graphics, light website development, and general design tasks.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and brand consistency—particularly in interview-style video content—while being comfortable collaborating with stakeholders and managing tasks through structured workflows.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Video Editing (80%) – Core Responsibility
- Edit pre-recorded podcast interviews featuring a presenter and company spokesperson
- Overlay high-quality B-roll footage of the company in a polished, professional, and engaging way
- Ensure smooth transitions, clean cuts, proper pacing, and visual alignment with brand standards
- Apply basic color correction, audio balancing, and visual enhancements as needed
- Deliver final outputs suitable for web, social media, and internal use
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders via Frame.io for reviews and feedback
2. Video Animation & Motion Graphics (5%)
- Create basic branded animations (lower thirds, intros/outros, title cards, visual overlays)
- Apply consistent brand elements across video assets
- Support visual storytelling without over-animation or distraction
3. Website Design & Development (5%)
- Assist with the initial build of a basic WordPress website (one-off or limited task)
- Update layouts, content blocks, and visuals as required
- Ensure visual alignment between video content and web presence
(Note: This is not a long-term primary responsibility)
4. Graphic Design & Photo Editing (10%)
- Create and edit presentation materials, visual assets, and general design collateral
- Perform light photo editing as required
- Support internal teams with visual content needs using Canva and Adobe tools
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required (Non-Negotiable)
Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro; After Effects for basic animation)
Canva
Frame.io (video transfer, review, and feedback)
Google Workspace
Microsoft Office Suite
Monday.com (task tracking, communication, and progress updates)
Preferred / Nice to Have
WordPress (basic site setup and content management)
Experience working with branded podcast or interview-style video content
Familiarity with NZ or AU market content standards
Required Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiables)
Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio required)
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience adding B-roll creatively and professionally to interview footage
Solid understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and brand consistency
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Comfortable working NZ business hours
Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback
Preferred Skills
Basic motion graphics or animation skills (Adobe After Effects)
WordPress website build or update experience
Graphic design experience for presentations or marketing materials
Experience collaborating with remote teams
