Inspect stringed instruments and/or amplifiers for defects, perform setups, and make minor repairs according to company specifications.

We are looking for a talented Quality Inspector based at our European Distribution Centre in Moerdijk, The Netherlands. You will be part of a team that are responsible for checking our products are of the highest quality that our players expect from our brand. The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the listing below:
Key Purpose of the Job
Provide complete inspection of stringed instruments and/ or amplifiers, including examining for possible mechanical and/or aesthetic defects, perform set-ups and making minor repairs according to Company specifications. Attention to detail is critical.
Main Responsibilities
- Inspect completed units for adherence to Fender’s quality criteria.
- Thoroughly inspect guitars/ amps for finish flaws.
- Tune and test guitars for playability and intonation.
- Make minor adjustments to specifications with hand tools.
- Adjustment of truss rod and nut finishing on guitars.
- Execute basic repairs to inspected instruments/ amps, which may include disassembly, buffing, soldering.

Person Specification
- that is used to working in a production environment.
- Guitarist or bassist (for guitar inspection).
- Affinity with measurement and adjustment tools.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
- Attention to detail.
- knowledge of electronics (amps).
Special conditions
Some hazardous chemicals along with hand tools, machinery and glues are used when repairing guitars and other instruments. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; use their hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee must sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Good eyesight required.
