Role Overview
We are seeking a T24 Senior Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Temenos Transact (T24) development. You will be part of a core team driving the bank’s modernization efforts, focusing on high-impact enhancements, integrations, and performance optimization across T24 modules. This is a critical role that combines deep technical knowledge with a solid understanding of banking systems and business processes.
The role is hybrid (3–4 days in office depending on location). The office is located in New Cairo.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain customizations and interfaces in Temenos T24 / Transact
Work on core banking modules such as AA, FT, AC, LD, MM, and Customer Management
Develop and optimize T24 routines, including Enquiries, Versions, OFS, TM, and browser customizations
Lead and support T24 upgrade, patching, and enhancement projects
Collaborate with business analysts and other IT teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
Provide support across UAT, SIT, and production environments, ensuring smooth rollouts
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in T24 applications
Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving team efficiency and knowledge sharing
3–5 years of proven experience in Temenos T24 / Transact development
Strong programming skills in jBASE, InfoBasic, and T24 Toolkit
Deep understanding of T24 architecture and core modules
Hands-on experience in TAFJ environments and T24 release upgrades
Experience developing web services (IRIS), OFS integration, and SOAP APIs
Familiarity with T24 browser/UI customization and third-party system integration
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Solid understanding of banking business processes and compliance requirements
Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
The role is a 1-Year contract through Xenon7, the approved vendor of the client
