What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. 
• Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate and automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. 
• Leverage GitOps-based continuous delivery of applications. 
• Utilize Helm for packaging, versioning, and deploying software applications. 
• Implement and extend Crossplane for managing cloud infrastructure resources in a multi-cloud environment. 
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Helm charts. 
• Maintain version-controlled infrastructure code for repeatability and scalability. 
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions for cloud-based applications. 
• Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 
• 5 years of progressive experience with Kubernetes. 
• Work experience to include: (1) 5 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). (2) 5 years of experience with container technology (Docker). (3) 5 years of experience with CICD Systems, including Gitlab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Helm. (4) 5 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation). (5) 5 years of experience with containerization and microservices architecture. (6) 5 years of experience monitoring and logging tools (Grafana Stack, Newrelic, or Datadog). (7) 5 years of experience with Python. (8) 5 years of experience with secrets management using Vault. 
• Any and all experience may be gained concurrently. 
• 40 hrs./wk. 
• Salary: $213,512 to $275,000  per year.

This role is based in San Francisco, California, and we are offering a wage range of $213,512 to $275,000 per year, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. At Postman we value in person collaboration. We are in office 5 days a week for all roles based out of our hubs in San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Austin, Tokyo and London. For roles based in Bangalore, employees currently work in the office three days a week and will transition to five days per week by the end of the year. We were thoughtful in our approach which is based on collaboration and grounded in feedback from our workforce, leadership team, and peers. The benefits of our in office model will be shared knowledge, brainstorming sessions, communication, and building trust in-person that cannot be replicated via zoom.
