Your day at NTT DATAThe Senior Manager, Division is a senior management role, responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring that the division/business area meets its performance objectives.

This role supports the strategic initiatives set by senior leadership and focuses on operational execution, team management and development while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities:

• In collaboration with senior leadership, develops and implements operational strategies that align with the overall goals of the division. Collaborate with the division leader to set objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Plans, drives and ensures flawless execution of initiatives, activities, and programs within the division.
• Leads and mentors a team of professionals within the division, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
• Analyzes performance metrics and operational data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives. Make data-driven decisions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• May manage the budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets. Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
• Works closely with other business areas to ensure alignment and support for shared goals.
• Facilitates communication and collaboration across teams.
• Oversees key projects within the division/business area, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the division/business area in meetings and discussions.
• Advocates for the division/business area’s needs and priorities.
• May identify potential risks and develops plans to mitigate them.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics, with a strong ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

• Focused on achieving goals and driving performance improvements.
• Demonstrates ability to navigate change and adjust strategies in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address challenges effectively.

Academic qualifications and certification:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business-related field or equivalent.

Required experience:

• Advanced experience gained in a management role, with a proven track record of driving operational success.
• Advanced experienced gained in a similar role, preferably within a matrixed technology services environment.
• Advanced experience in the practices, policies, and procedures of their chosen field.
