Location: Yokohama BSI Office
Reports to: Regulatory Services PMD Act Planner & CSC Manager
We have an opportunity to recruit within our Regulatory Services stream; also known as our Medical Devices unit of the business. The purpose of the role is to provide operational support for PMD (The Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices) Act clients within Regulatory Services. You will be pivotal in providing a great customer journey, maintaining accuracy of data and ensuring efficiency of processes. We don’t require prior industry knowledge as full training will be provided, if you have a prior experience in operational support, sales support or coordination experience – we would love to receive an application from you.
Responsibilities:
Respond to client inquiries via phone and email (regarding reviews and documentation).
Issue and manage application forms, certification-related documents, invoices, and various certificates.
Manage review schedules and coordinate with clients.
Perform part of the monthly reporting tasks to the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA).
Maintain and manage client records related to the PMD Act.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Prior administrative experience (e.g., sales administration, customer support, etc.)
Fluent in Japanese and English language verbal and written (our internal systems are in English).
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Strong communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in document review and verification.
Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
This role involves handling multiple projects simultaneously across various tasks.
Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and demonstrate consideration toward others.
Close cooperation with other departments, sales teams, and reviewers is required.
