Job Description
Title**: Business Operations Senior Analyst**
Grade: 10
Type: Full time
Location**: Belgrade, Serbia.** This position welcomes all applicants in Belgrade, Serbia (not a remote position).
Belgrade, Serbia - hybrid (minimum 3 days from the office)
Position Summary
The ideal candidate can utilize advanced MS Excel dashboards connected to a database and has SQL knowledge. Candidate has excellent analytical/logical skills and speaks English fluently with the ability to carry out complex business operations concepts simply and clearly. Has previous experience in Data Analytics, providing insight on main business drivers, questioning data accuracy, and creating dashboards. Good communication and presentation skills are essential. The candidate is able to learn rapidly in dynamic and changing surroundings.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree (FON, Mathematics, Computer science, Technical studies, or similar) + 2 years professional experience. Other educations are welcome if all other required qualifications are present.
Experience in data visualization is a must. Candidate must have deep knowledge in tools such as: advanced Excel dashboards, SQL and data reporting. PowerBI is a plus. Candidate must be willing to learn.
The successful candidate will be high-energy, proactive, highly organized and committed to driving results.
Ability to work in global reporting environment; prioritization, multi-tasking, time management, accuracy and organization skills are necessary.
Must be willing to work Europe working hours (95%).
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Developing reports for data analysis across different domains utilizing SQL, Power BI and/or Excel.
- Able to accurately identify key user requirements in a fast dynamic environment
- Ability to translate complex user requirements into actionable user stories and functional specifications.
- Able to create robust tests to ensure report accuracy during development and in production
- Track deliverables. Lead accuracy assurance. Monitor reports progress – weekly reports, daily e-mail status information.
- Present to stakeholders reports on progress, issues and solutions.
- Implement and manage a reporting process change when necessary to meet accuracy targets.
- Cross-functional collaboration within the organization worldwide
- Provide on-going analytics, metrics optimization, ad-hoc reports on request, clarifications to Management in order to support day to day decision making.
- Resolve data issues (within reach) from data integrity/development standpoint and/or partner with IT.
- Communicate with internal IT department regarding database refresh process and potential timing issues.
