Job Description

The Junior System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining computer systems and networks within an organization. The purpose is to ensure smooth and efficient systems and network operations, by installing and configuring hardware and software, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues. The System Administrator also plays a key role in ensuring the security of the systems and networks, by implementing security measures and monitoring for potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain computer systems and network infrastructure.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.

• Provide technical support for IT-related issues, including diagnosing and resolving them, replacing defective components, and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and availability of IT systems.

• Monitor system performance, identify, and resolve issues as they arise.

• Maintain system security by implementing security measures and monitoring for potential threats.

• Collaborate with other IT staff (international) to ensure consistent implementation of policies and procedures.

• Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices, including user access controls, password policies, and data backup and recovery procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications 

• Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Windows, MS Office, and network

• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and related protocols.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Language skills: Czech - intermediate or higher level proficiency English - intermediate or higher level proficiency

Qualifications (Nice to have)

• Experience with Azure.

• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation

• Russian language is a plus

Experience 

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
