The position demands extensive experience in fresh produce sales, managing buyer relationships, and guaranteeing a steady supply of high-quality fruits and vegetables to the HORECA sector.
Key Responsibilities:HORECA Business Development• Expand and strengthen the HORECA sales network across Mumbai, Goa, Pune, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Nagpur, and surrounding areas.• Identify and onboard hotels, restaurants, caterers, and institutional buyers for fresh fruits and vegetables.• Cultivate long-term partnerships with purchasing managers and procurement teams.
Sales & Revenue Growth• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for fresh fruits and vegetables within the HORECA segment.• Formulate pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with institutional buyers.• Drive continuous revenue growth from the HORECA segment.• Ensure timely revenue collection as per agreed schedules.
Procurement Coordination• Collaborate with the internal procurement team and farmer network to maintain a consistent supply of quality produce.• Align HORECA client demand with procurement plans and oversee aggregation strategy.• Coordinate with the procurement team to meet quality standards and ensure punctual delivery of produce.
Client Relationship Management• Sustain strong relationships with existing HORECA clients.• Respond promptly to client needs, feedback, and service issues.• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Market Intelligence• Monitor market demand, pricing trends, and competitor activities within the fresh produce sector.• Provide management with market insights to enhance product positioning and supply planning.
Cross Functional Coordination• Collaborate closely with internal logistics, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.• Guarantee timely deliveries and uphold service quality for key accounts.Reporting & Performance Tracking• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client acquisition, and revenue growth.• Monitor order volumes, buyer engagement, and product demand trends.
Key Skills & Competencies• In-depth knowledge of the fresh fruits and vegetables supply chain.• Proven experience in HORECA sales and managing institutional clients.• Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.• Capability to handle demand forecasting and supply coordination.• Excellent communication and business development skills.
