Role Overview
As Senior Manager, Commercial Partnerships, APAC, you’ll lead the development and growth of Klaviyo’s channel and alliances ecosystem across Asia–Pacific. This is a highly strategic, hands‑on role that combines team leadership, partner enablement, and market expansion.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and growing our top‑tier Commercial partner book of business in Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), managed by our Commercial PAMs.
- Building and scaling a high‑performing Commercial partner team in Asia and developing a reseller and alliances channel across Asia to accelerate regional growth.
You will treat Channel & Alliances as a core revenue engine – not a side program – by running a disciplined, data‑driven operating rhythm, embedding structured co‑sell motions with Sales and CS, and putting AI‑first practices at the center of how the team plans, executes, and reports.
This role is ideal for a player‑coach who can scale Klaviyo’s presence across diverse markets while driving revenue through strong partner‑led motions and building the leadership bench for APAC.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Set and execute the APAC Commercial Channel & Alliances strategy, including the ANZ Commercial partner portfolio and Asia reseller motion, aligned to regional ARR, NDR, and multiproduct goals.
- Drive predictable partner‑sourced and partner‑influenced pipeline and ARR through a disciplined operating rhythm, inspection, and accurate forecasting.
- Lead, coach, and scale a high‑performing Commercial partner team across APAC, creating a high‑accountability, high‑support culture.
- Embed structured co‑sell motions with Sales and CS so partners are consistently involved in real customer work across new business, onboarding, and expansion.
- Design and run a scaled, high‑velocity partner motion for smaller agencies and resellers alongside the managed tier, balancing depth with breadth across the Commercial base.
- Elevate partner experience and alliances via scalable enablement programs, joint GTM plays, and strong governance (rules of engagement, deal registration, and QBRs).
How Success Will Be Measured
You’ll be measured on a mix of outcomes and leading indicators, including:
- Partner‑sourced and partner‑influenced ARR and pipeline in Commercial segments.
- Pipeline coverage and conversion for partner‑attached opportunities (by market and segment).
- Multiproduct attach rate (e.g. SMS, WhatsApp, MA, K:Service, Reviews, CDP) via partners.
- Activation, productivity, and health of managed partners (time‑to‑first‑deal, deals per partner, QBR participation, certifications).
- Team performance and development: attainment vs goals, progression, and internal partner/Sales feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in partnerships, channel sales, or business development, with a focus on Commercial or mid‑market SaaS.
- Track record of building and managing partner teams and reseller ecosystems, including owning revenue and pipeline targets.
- Strong understanding of APAC markets, with direct experience in ANZ and Asia highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with both internal and external stakeholders, including C‑level.
- Data‑driven operator with expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and partner performance analysis.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with competing priorities.
- Demonstrable AI‑first thinking: proven ability to identify, test, and implement AI‑driven workflows that increase team efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
- Comfort experimenting with AI in work or personal projects, with a desire to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows to make work smarter and more efficient.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or leading Channel & Alliances motions (agencies, SIs, BPOs, ISVs, resellers) across multiple APAC markets.
- Exposure to ecommerce and martech ecosystems (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce, SFCC, Magento, or adjacent platforms).
- Prior experience designing and running co‑sell programs and GTM plays with agencies and global alliances partnerships.
- People management experience in high‑growth environments, especially managing Partner Account Managers or Channel sellers.
