Perplexity is seeking an experienced Full Stack AI Software Engineer to help revolutionize the way people search and interact online.

Responsibilities

Propose novel product features that can be built with LLMs and integrate them into our product.
Stay up-to-date on new features released from external LLM providers and in house researchers.
Improving the speed and quality of our codebase and engineering processes to ensure we consistently deliver an amazing product experience.
Collaborating across disciplines, including researchers, engineers, product managers, and designers, to fill gaps and ship products.

Qualifications

Strong programming skills with the ability to work across the full stack. Our tech stack includes Python, NextJS, TypeScript, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, and Postgresql.
Understands how to make tradeoffs in using different models.
Self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
A passion for shipping quality products.
Proven track record of working with LLM API’s and prompting challenges.
2+ years of industry experience.

The cash compensation range for this role is $160,000 - $240,000.

Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity is part of the total compensation package.
