The Corporate Communications Manager is the backbone of strategic communications for the SolarWinds organization. At SolarWinds, the Corporate Communications team includes public relations, social media, internal communications, analyst relations, and executive programs. This role will help build out and be accountable for internal process design and documentation, system and workflow improvement, and cadenced functional planning. The ideal candidate should have a growth mindset, strategic thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Your Impact:
- Manage and/or assist with the daily operations of corporate communication functions, including public relations, social media, analyst relations, and internal communications.
- Implement and participate in designing communication initiatives to align with SolarWind's organizational objectives.
- Own and maintain a corporate communications editorial calendar.
- Collaborate with public relations or corporate communications agencies and teams on cross-functional projects, budgeting, scheduling, and processes.
- Work with SolarWinds Marketing teams to create and optimize communications processes.
- Measure and track the effectiveness of corporate communication programs. Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize and scale programs.
- Manage staff and agencies in their day-to-day performance, as applicable.
- Administrate budgets and project/department milestones.
Your Experience
- Bachelor's degree (related field preferred).
- Minimum of six years of experience in corporate communications, marketing operations, or a related area.
- Extensive knowledge of corporate communications processes and best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Asana, and marketing technology tools.
- Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven track record of program management.
- Ability to collaborate with teams at all levels in the organization.
