As an Expert Field Service Technician, you are the technical leader customers depend on when operations can’t fail. You’ll support advanced electrical, mechanical, and automated systems — many of them mission‑critical for large‑scale water and wastewater treatment operations.
This is a role built on expertise, independence, and the ability to guide others. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues in the field, support high‑impact systems, and be a trusted partner for customers who rely on your precision and professionalism.
🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work with sophisticated industrial equipment across customer sites, especially a major water treatment facility in Fort Saskatchewan:
- ⚙️ Initiate and execute field service activities safely and efficiently at customer locations.
- 🔌 Work hands‑on with industrial electrical systems,
- 🛠️ Troubleshoot advanced and complex systems proactively to minimize downtime.
- 🔧 Perform preventative maintenance, identify safety risks, and maintain accurate parts inventory.
- 🤝 Interact directly with customers to support multiple systems, locations, or operational needs.
- 🧭 Work independently — often with little to no supervision — while also providing coaching, guidance, and leadership to others.
📍 Location & Travel
- Location: Nisku, Alberta
- Primary site: Major Water Treatment Plant in Fort Saskatchewan
- Travel: Regional travel required (valid driver’s license + clean driving record)

📘 What You Bring
- High school diploma (technical certificate, electrical degree, or industrial license preferred)
- 3–7 years of experience in electrical, instrumentation, or industrial maintenance roles
- Experience with motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, actuators, or instrumentation
- Ability to work independently and guide/mentor other technicians
- Strong safety mindset and decision‑making skills
- Clean driving record + ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical
