Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury
Our client is a well-established, boutique personal injury law firm in Cincinnati, Ohio, recognized for its excellence in both Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury litigation. The firm strategically accepts a low volume of high-value cases, meaning every team member plays a meaningful role in delivering outstanding outcomes for clients who truly need it.
This is not your average paralegal role. You'll work directly alongside experienced attorneys on complex, high-stakes cases, from pre-litigation through to trial, with real responsibility, high expectations, and genuine opportunities to grow and make an impact. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Communicating with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, opposing counsel, and other case-connected parties via phone and email
- Drafting pleadings, interrogatories, and requests for production of documents
- Summarizing medical records and preparing demand packages
- Organizing and managing complex casework through pre-litigation, litigation, and trial phases
- Searching for and coordinating expert involvement in cases
- Maintaining case schedules and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
Essential
- 2+ years of personal injury or civil litigation paralegal experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (warmth, professionalism, and client-centered care)
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced workload with competing priorities
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with case management software
- High School Diploma
Preferred
Relevant degree or paralegal certificate
Experience with FileVine and Microsoft Office suite
Prior exposure to leadership responsibilities or growth trajectory within a firm
Salary: $55,000 – $70,000
Paid sick leave and paid holidays
