We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive with 1–4 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken Gujarati. This role requires handling day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial reporting processes while effectively communicating with Gujarati-speaking clients or stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for financial data and clarifications.
- Communicate effectively with Gujarati-speaking clients/vendors through emails, calls, and documentation.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Monitor expenses and assist in budget tracking and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools) and MS Excel.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Gujarati (mandatory).
- Good communication skills in English and/or Hindi are an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of taxation (GST, TDS) is preferred.
