Anthropic is looking for a People Operations Generalist to join our People Services team. In this role, you'll support a wide variety of projects focused on our people systems and processes, employee lifecycle operations, and compliance initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional partners including People Partners (HRBPs), Legal, IT, and Internal Tools to build seamless experiences that enable Ants (what we call our employees internally) to fit, function, and flourish in their roles.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable People/HR processes that grow with the company while maintaining quality and consistency
Proactively identify potential issues before they arise and develop preventative solutions
Optimize processes in our people systems (including our HRIS, Workday) to deliver a great user experience
Lead compliance initiatives and reporting, staying ahead of requirements across different global markets
Partner with technical teams to leverage data for strategic decision-making and operational improvements
Drive cross-functional projects with clear documentation, efficient execution, and measurable outcomes
Create intuitive, self-service solutions that enable Ants to help themselves while enhancing their overall experience
Develop and maintain effective data reporting and analysis to inform People strategy and operations

Have 8-10+ years of People Operations/HR experience in a high-growth companyHave 4+ years of experience with Workday HCMAre comfortable collaborating with technical teams to optimize systems and processesHave a solid understanding of compliance requirements and risk managementExcel at project management with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectivelyAre organized and detail-oriented, particularly when handling sensitive employee dataAre comfortable with basic data analysis and spreadsheetsCommunicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally

Have experience with other Workday modules
Have experience with performance management systems and program management
Have advanced data analysis skills and experience with spreadsheets

The expected salary range for this position is:

Annual Salary:

$220,000—$275,000 USD

Logistics

Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.**

Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
