Overview
Our client is looking to appoint an outstanding Chief Operations Officer to help guide a business undergoing rapid expansion throughout the U.S. This is a pivotal opportunity within a mid-sized organization in the health and wellness sector, offering the chance to build scale around new initiatives in a market with significant runway. The business currently operates across all 50 states.
In this role, the COO will work closely with the CEO to drive key strategic priorities and ensure the organization has the structure, execution discipline, and operational strength required to sustain growth. This position is ideal for a highly organized operator who brings strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a consistent ability to follow through.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the CEO on strategic planning and operational delivery
- Support contract execution as well as broader initiatives tied to market expansion
- Travel 30–40% to support market growth, customer relationships, and team engagement across priority regions
- Build and refine processes that can support growing capacity as programs expand
- Lead the rollout and integration of major business initiatives within the existing operating framework
- Oversee day-to-day business operations across the organization
- Bring a structured, detail-focused approach to execution, paired with strong communication and deliberate follow-through
- Develop and implement operational strategies that enable aggressive multi-state growth
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable working on-site in Oklahoma City and traveling regularly within the U.S.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven success in healthcare administration or business operations
- Intentional in execution and follow-through, with the ability to stay mission-focused in all circumstances
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a healthcare-related field
- Calm, grounded leadership style with the flexibility to adapt in fast-moving, evolving environments
- Highly structured and detail-oriented in approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching new products, services, or initiatives within healthcare-related settings
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Familiarity with healthcare systems, insurance, and therapy
Base Salary: $130,000 - 145,000
- Variable Compensation: Performance bonus (up to 40% of base) plus equity participation in management pool
