Growth Product Manager
Looking for a Growth Product Manager to improve user experience, focusing on discovery, adoption, and value from Fivetran, using data to solve impactful problems.
From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity.
About the Role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We’re looking for a Growth Product Manager who will work across the full user journey to help more users discover, adopt, and derive value from Fivetran.
You’ll focus on identifying points of friction, forming hypotheses, and running experiments to improve how users explore Fivetran during their trial, get set up with their first connectors, and expand their usage over time.
This role is a great fit for someone who wants to use data to find and solve the most impactful problems for the business.
This is a full-time, position based out of our Oakland, CA office.
Technologies You’ll Use
Product analytics tools, BI tools, SQL, A/B testing
What You’ll Do
- Build and manage the growth product roadmap focused on improving key moments in the user journey, based on where the biggest opportunities for impact are
- Define quarterly goals, lead prioritization, and ensure timely delivery and follow-through on results
- Identify and test opportunities to improve how users explore Fivetran during trials, get set up, and expand their usage over time
- Be an expert in experimentation — from hypothesis development and test design to interpreting results and scaling what works
- Use data to uncover friction points and propose high-impact experiments or product changes
- Show a willingness to go deep: use Fivetran regularly, learn how it works, and build empathy for our technical users
- Understand how B2B SaaS marketing and sales motions work, and use that knowledge to drive cross-functional success
- Partner closely with design, engineering, analytics, marketing, customer-facing teams, and other product groups to build and launch enhancements and experiments
- Present your work and align priorities with stakeholders across the company, including senior leadership and executives
- Communicate outcomes clearly, sharing both wins and learnings to guide future strategy
Skills We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of growth product experience on a technical product in B2B SaaS
- Analytical mindset with the ability to independently dig into data and use product analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude, Heap)
- Expertise in A/B testing and experimentation best practices
- Comfortable working with engineers, designers, and go-to-market teams to bring ideas to life
- Willingness to go deep in the product and build empathy for technical users
- Effective cross-functional communicator, able to align with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate material business impact
