We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented finance leader to take ownership of the organization’s financial health, ensuring disciplined growth, strong governance, and complete financial visibility. This role goes beyond traditional finance management, requiring someone who can balance ambition with financial prudence—providing data-backed insights, challenging unsustainable decisions, and ensuring every financial move aligns with long-term business objectives. You will serve as the backbone of financial planning, compliance, and cash flow management while partnering closely with leadership to drive informed decision-making. From budgeting and forecasting to investor reporting and regulatory adherence, you will play a critical role in building scalable financial systems and maintaining operational rigor in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This position demands a high level of ownership, integrity, and the confidence to influence strategic direction while ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across business units
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls to support scalable growth
• Deliver clear, actionable financial reports and insights to leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and regulatory filings
• Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and coordination with external auditors and consultants
• Oversee GST filings, reconciliations, audits, and handle tax-related queries or notices
• Manage treasury operations, including banking relationships, working capital, and cash flow forecasting
• Identify financial risks early and implement mitigation strategies
• Support fundraising initiatives, including financial preparation, due diligence, and investor reporting
• Build, lead, and mentor the finance and accounts team, driving a culture of accuracy and accountability
• Optimize financial processes using accounting systems, ERP tools, and reporting frameworks

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 4–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management
• Strong expertise in Indian taxation, including GST, TDS, and income tax regulations
• Proven ability to build financial models and interpret complex financial data
• Experience handling audits, compliance, and regulatory interactions independently
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge decisions using financial insights
• Confidence in presenting financial data to senior leadership, founders, or investors
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
• Experience in startup, D2C, or high-growth environments is a strong advantage
• Proficiency in tools such as Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, advanced Excel, and ERP systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
