Technical Writer
Create and maintain training materials, documentation, and guides for various teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and standardized training.
As a Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in reviving and expanding our internal learning content.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining training materials that empower our operators and ensure consistent knowledge transfer across various teams, including GenAI Ops, Contributor Ops, Engineering, Product, QMs, and Support Agents.
Your work will directly impact efficiency and training consistency, mitigating knowledge loss and ensuring standardized training.
The Junior Technical Writer will work very closely with our Senior Technical Writer and our Instructional Designer ensuring very close collaboration and coordination to deliver timely updated content.
You will:
- Identify and address knowledge gaps by creating new documentation, updating existing content, and developing new training materials to ensure all teams are using the newest tools and processes.
- Develop comprehensive training materials, including documentation, tutorials, and guides, based on existing and new tools and processes tailored to the needs of various user groups, including all operators, and our international support agents and queue manager teams, ensuring clarity and usability at all levels of the business.
- Content maintenance.
Regularly review and update documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (engineers, product managers, operators and other subject matter experts) to gather, synthesize, and translate complex technical information into clear, actionable documentation & training.
- Lead and assist in the delivery and support of training and onboarding programs.
Ideally, you’d have:
- Strong technical background (bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field)
- 1+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
- Strong understanding of technical documentation principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Ability to learn and understand complex technical concepts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with content management systems.
- Entrepreneurial experience and mindset - you are excited about building things from scratch and are highly adaptable to constant change
