What You’ll Own
1. Online Revenue Management* Take full responsibility for achieving monthly and quarterly online sales goals* Drive revenue growth through product launches, bundles, limited editions, and gifting options* Maintain a balance between growth and contribution margins (focus is not on discount-first strategies)
2. D2C Website (Showcasing the Brand)* Manage the Shopify store from start to finish* Ensure product pages tell a compelling story beyond just the SKU* Enhance conversion rates by improving the user experience, product detail pages, bundles, and gifting workflows* Collaborate effectively with developers and designers without requiring close supervision
3. Marketplaces (Strategic and Selective)* Oversee presence on Amazon, Flipkart, and quick-commerce platforms with a selective approach* Strategically decide which SKUs to list on which platforms (not all products everywhere)* Manage listings, pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory synchronization* Safeguard brand positioning while increasing sales volume
4. Campaigns, Drops & Calendar Planning* Develop a comprehensive annual e-commerce calendar covering:* Festivals* Limited edition releases* Collaborations* Gifting occasions* Partner with marketing to deliver launch campaigns that convey a premium feel rather than being overly noisy
5. Performance & Customer Retention* Collaborate with the paid media team to drive ROAS-positive growth* Enhance average order value (AOV), repeat purchase rates, and gifting frequency* Own and optimize email and WhatsApp journeys for product launches and reorder campaigns
6. Data Analysis, Insights & Reporting to Founders* Monitor daily metrics including sales, traffic, conversion rate (CVR), AOV, and repeat purchase rate* Translate data into actionable insights rather than just generating dashboards* Operate with a mindset of a mini P&L owner for the e-commerce channel
