Logistics & Trade Compliance Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
Trade Compliance
Execute daily import and export operations in compliance with applicable customs regulations.
Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure proper clearance of shipments.
Support and administer trade compliance programs such as IMMEX, PROSEC, and VAT certification.
Maintain and manage Annex 24 records and related compliance documentation.
Prepare and submit required reports related to trade compliance programs.
Maintain organized foreign trade documentation and compliance records.
Manage and track imported fixed assets in accordance with customs requirements.
Support internal and external audits related to foreign trade and customs compliance.
Perform origin analysis and review certificates of origin to ensure compliance with trade agreements.
Logistics
Coordinate international import and export shipments.
Ensure proper flow and accuracy of shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.).
Track shipments and manage logistics incidents or delays.
Coordinate with logistics providers and freight forwarders to ensure efficient transportation.
Collaborate with purchasing, planning, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely material flow.
Monitor transit times and logistics provider performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in import/export operations and trade compliance.
Solid knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and foreign trade programs (IMMEX, PROSEC, VAT certification).
Experience managing Annex 24 systems.
Experience coordinating international logistics and working with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
Conversational English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SAP and OneSource systems.
