Key Responsibilities
Execute complex post-payroll transactional activities, including accounting reconciliation, legal reporting authorization and review, and payroll cycle checklists
Manage annual payroll events and ensure timely and accurate delivery
Lead system and application upgrade testing (e.g. HRSP, EMR), ensuring proper validation and issue resolution
Oversee the implementation of Change Requests (CR), ensuring alignment with business needs and system requirements
Participate in and lead projects aimed at improving customer satisfaction and overall business performance
Proactively identify solutions to resolve issues, enhance customer service, and improve operational efficiency
Leverage Senior SME expertise to design and implement standard payroll services and Payroll Control Center (PCC), in close collaboration with Horizon and Service ACE teams
Support the Payroll Manager in their role as Local Service Delivery Manager (LSDM), managing complex customer inquiries and escalations
Coach and support Senior Customer Management Associates and Specialists in resolving complex client requests
Coach and support Senior Data Management Associates and Specialists in handling complex data calculations and issues
Manage legal and regulatory compliance processes related to payroll activities
Play a key role in payroll training and certification programs within the Customer Service team
Support the Regional Sales Operations team as needed
Perform in-depth analysis of complex payroll issues affecting individual employees or groups, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions
Assess and resolve payroll impacts related to benefit deductions
Mentor payroll associates and JL3 payroll specialists, particularly in locations where the Payroll Manager is not present on-site
