We are seeking an experienced IoT Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale connected vehicle and IoT initiatives within a complex automotive technology environment. This role focuses on managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IoT-driven automotive projects, ensuring seamless coordination between embedded systems, cloud platforms, data services, and application teams. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the development and deployment of connected vehicle solutions that enable real-time communication between devices, vehicles, and cloud-based systems. As a project leader, you will work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into well-executed technical programs. The role requires strong expertise in managing cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across multiple technology layers including vehicle systems, telematics platforms, and IoT infrastructure. You will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of projects while ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and organizational goals. In addition to overseeing development cycles, you will facilitate Agile processes such as sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking to maintain visibility and accountability across teams. The position also requires managing risks, resolving dependencies, and ensuring integration readiness across connected vehicle platforms and IoT ecosystems. A strong understanding of device-to-cloud communication, automotive software development processes, and cloud-enabled IoT architectures will be essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of IoT and connected vehicle projects from planning and design to deployment and post-launch support
• Coordinate with embedded systems, cloud, data engineering, and application teams to ensure successful integration of IoT solutions
• Define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables while managing risks and dependencies across teams
• Drive Agile project management practices including sprint planning, backlog tracking, and continuous progress monitoring
• Ensure system integration, testing, and validation of connected vehicle solutions before release
• Provide clear and consistent project updates, reports, and progress insights to stakeholders and leadership teams
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering, product, and business teams to align technical execution with business goals
• Ensure compliance with automotive software development processes and industry quality standards
• Manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate cross-functional activities to maintain project momentum
• Utilize project management tools such as Jira and Confluence to track tasks, documentation, and team collaboration
What Makes You a Great Fit
• 8+ years of experience in project or program management within technology-driven environments
• Strong experience managing IoT, connected device, or connected vehicle technology projects
• Solid understanding of automotive systems including telematics, embedded platforms, and connected vehicle architectures
• Familiarity with IoT architecture, including device-to-cloud communication and data flow across distributed systems
• Proven experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies for project execution and delivery
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
• Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP used in IoT ecosystems
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams
• Ability to manage complex technical programs while balancing business priorities and timelines
• Engineering or technical background with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
