Summer Internship: Maintenance and Metrology Engineering Intern (Onsite - Hopewell, NJ)

Education Required: In process of getting a degree post high school.

General Description:

The Maintenance/Metrology Engineer Intern will be involved in Calibration, troubleshooting, and providing support for manufacturing and Facilities Instrumentation. This role will be based in Hopewell NJ and report to a Senior Metrology Manager.

• Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Review technical documentation.
  • Assist in Calibration of equipment and facility Instrumentation.
  • Organize spare parts.
  • Gather and organize calibration data.
  • Hands-on experience with measurement equipment and tools.
  • Requires working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Support operations and ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate and site requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  

• None

Computer Skills: 

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook).
• Willingness to learn Calibration and Asset management Software (Maximo).

Other Qualifications:    

• 1+ years related engineering experience.
• Familiarity with standard operating procedures, on-the-job-training, and other controlled documents.
• Effective written and verbal communications skills

Pay Rates:

Undergrad: $27/hour USD

Masters: $30/hour USD

Salary Range: $ - $ per hour

Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
