We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Associate to support and accelerate organizational growth. In this role, you will identify potential clients, build strong relationships with decision-makers, and create a robust pipeline of new business opportunities. You will play a key role in positioning recruitment and talent solutions to high-growth startups and established technology companies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential clients across startups, SMEs, and enterprises in sectors such as SaaS, Fintech, Cybersecurity, and E-commerce.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
Outreach & Engagement
- Initiate contact with founders, HR leaders, and engineering heads through cold calling, personalized email outreach, and professional networking platforms.
- Develop meaningful relationships with key decision-makers.
Pitching & Presentations
- Conduct introductory meetings and presentations to showcase recruitment capabilities and value proposition.
- Effectively communicate solutions tailored to client hiring needs.
Pipeline Management
- Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot) to track leads, follow-ups, and conversion metrics.
- Ensure accurate reporting and consistent follow-through on opportunities.
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on industry trends, funding activity (e.g., Series A/B rounds), and competitor strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities based on market insights.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the recruitment team to clearly communicate client requirements.
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and talent delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, BBA, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and C-level executives.
- Strong sales mindset with a proactive, “hunter” approach to business development.
- Resilience and ability to handle objections in a competitive environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
