Expert Service Center Technician

The Expert Service Center Technician is responsible for performing service activities at service center locations in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes working with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, assisting with shop and yard work, and ensuring a safe work environment. The position may occasionally interface with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe working environment and culture
- Take care of company property and equipment

- Function effectively as part of a team and work independently with minimal supervision
- Lead, coach, and mentor junior technicians as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Assist with general shop and yard tasks as required
- Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and customers
- Travel to customer or job sites as needed (up to 20%)
Education & Certifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Capable of obtaining a CDL (Class A or B) with applicable endorsements – preferred, not required
Preferred:
- Technical or trade school background
- Technical certifications, industry-specific licenses, or military technical experience
Experience
- 3–7 years of technical experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing work
- Experience with customer service
- Experience working independently without direct supervision

The estimated salary range for this position is $35-37 an hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
