We are seeking a seasoned Business Development expert to lead the CMO/CDMO initiatives for domestic pharmaceutical formulation clients. This position entails discovering new business prospects, managing client relationships, and enhancing the company's contract manufacturing offerings within the domestic market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new CMO/CDMO opportunities with pharmaceutical firms in the domestic formulations sector.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Oversee comprehensive business development activities, including client meetings, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Regulatory, Production, and QA) to ensure effective project execution.
- Comprehend client needs for product development, technology transfer, and commercial manufacturing.
- Monitor market trends and pinpoint new product opportunities for contract manufacturing.
- Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and engage in commercial discussions with clients.
Key Requirements
- Experience in Business Development for CMO/CDMO or Contract Manufacturing within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong grasp of pharmaceutical formulations and the dynamics of the domestic market.
- Demonstrated ability to create new business opportunities and manage key accounts.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Experience
10–15 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, preferably in formulations and contract manufacturing.
