Sales Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Development Manager (Outbound Team) to build, lead, and mentor our high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) focused on the US market.

This role is crucial for driving the growth of our sales pipeline. You will be responsible for owning the team’s lead generation quota , developing innovative strategies, and coaching your team to success. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B SaaS sales , proven leadership abilities , and a passion for building high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Recruit, build, lead, and guide a high-achieving SDR team. Continuously mentor the team, promote best practice adoption, and keep motivation high to exceed targets.
  • Strategy & Execution: Design and implement innovative outbound lead generation strategies to meet sales objectives.
  • Performance Management: Define clear objectives and KPIs for the team. Provide regular performance reports at both individual and team levels, and accurately forecast monthly and quarterly quota attainment.
  • Process Optimization: Oversee and refine all outbound processes and activities. Establish effective lead nurturing workflows to maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams. Partner with Sales to enhance qualification procedures and with Marketing to craft targeted messaging for outreach.
  • Training: Lead regular training sessions and workshops to develop the skills and expertise of the SDR team.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Over 5 years in B2B SaaS, including at least 2 years in an SDR Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Market Focus: Proven experience managing SDR teams targeting the US market is essential.
  • Shift & Location: Willingness to work US Central time zone shifts from our Bangalore office is required.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in delivering outstanding outbound sales development results and achieving sales goals within enterprise accounts (companies with over 5,000 employees).
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities to inspire and drive the team.
  • Skills:
  1. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  2. Analytical, data-driven approach with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
  3. Good understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Attitude:

  • Technical: Experience with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot or Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Account Intent: Experience with ABM platforms or intent data platforms (such as Demandbase, 6sense, etc.) is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
