A tracker is better with jobs in it.

Pick a template, then search by role, location and the things that matter to you. Export the jobs you want in the same layout, with company names and application links already filled in.

Which format should I use?

Choose Excel for a formatted workbook with a status dropdown, an example tab and instructions. For Google Sheets, import that workbook into a new spreadsheet. Choose CSV when you just want the columns and data: it does not include formatting or dropdowns.
